  Love Dr. Ruth and her staff. Have been bringing my animals and rescues here for about 7 years or so. So thankful for their compassionate care and honest answers always and they don't try to gouge your wallet for things your pet doesn't need. I have seen some reviews complain about the front desk staff here. They may not always be warm and fuzzy but my experience is that they do a great job in an extremely busy office keeping things straight and they are all very compassionate women when it comes to the care of your pets...that is most important.

  I will totally agree, with the other reviewers statements, that the front desk staff is completely rude and more worried about their personal lives. If google wouldn't take it down, I would actually use a word that started with "B" to describe the woman who I dealt with yesterday. What worse was I had taken my pup in for surgery I was given a written estimate of $230. Well I was already peeved because they had canceled the procedure on me the week before and I was moving so we did it yesterday. When I arrived to pick up my pup my bill was $418. That's nowhere near $230. 82% more actually. I asked the rid lady why and she just hands me a print out. They didn't include anesthesia or any pain meds. To me those are pretty basic things needed for surgery, don't bs me give me an accurate estimate so I can make my decision. Well I have now. I will not be back and I hope dr. Ruth and staff read this. Before posting I tried calling and asked for dr. Ruth to call me back, she has not yet. She has burned the lifetime value of me as a client who owns 2 one year old pups.

  This place used to be nice, but all the reviews about the reception staff being rude is completely true. They completely lost my business when I came in about 5 minutes after they opened (according to google), and my cat had been sick and gone to a 24 hour animal hospital the night before with a fever. I came in because she was foaming at the mouth from her medicine that the hospital gave her, and it was close to my house and we had always trusted this place. As soon as I go over to the counter to ask to check in, the lady rudely tells me that I need to go sign in and gives no indication of care for my cat or asks why I'm there in the first place. I go over to the sign in, and another receptionist rudely addresses me and says "we don't see patients this early unless it's an emergency." She didn't ask "is this an emergency?" And it WAS. But after that comment, I said "okay" and left driving 30 minutes away to the other clinic because of the terrible treatment. 1) this business needs receptionist that care for the people as much as their animals. 2) if their opening hours are emergency hours, they should list that. 3) Go somewhere that actually cares about you like Cat and Cow or better yet drive to Collierville. I would give zero stars if I could

  Hidden gem in Desoto County Mississippi! Easily accessible thanks to 385. I drive from Fayette County TN. Dr Ruth and Dr Ginny are the best! Ginny has brought my 7 yr old dal from lame to frisky in just a few visits. The staff is friendly and real. Trust these good folks to love and care for your pets like you do.
